When you sell your services, things get a bit tricky. You go through a quick SWOT analysis to try to position yourself correctly, look at your body of work, and the work in development... and sift through to communicate the correct message to the end user.
I say this because I note as I review my resume website, the portfolio is a weakness. Why? The examples don't show the work I am capable of. At this point you gotta be thinking, "This person is nuts, what kind of summary of qualifications is this?”
It goes like this. I started working in Internet related technologies in 1996. I learned fast. I learned a lot. I fell in love with the medium. Then in 2000 I got to become a parent - YEAH! Learn fast - topic parenting.
Until the kidlet was in Kindergarten, I simply maintained my current skill level, and added additional skills slowly. 1st grade gave me way too much time on my hands. So back to school I went; finished my Bachelors degree in two years.
